“The truth is, no one of us can be free until everybody is free.” – Maya Angelou

The white Pompom is an international symbol of freedom. It stands for freedom from human trafficking, child labor, and slavery.

Show your support for freedom today.

On January 14th, 2025 at the Global Sustainability Network’s annual meeting in Abu Dhabi, the Pompom was voted by a majority as an internationally recognized symbol of freedom. The Global Sustainability Network (GSN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal Number 8. This UN SDG Goal focuses specifically on eradicating forced labor, child labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking. HeARTs on a Mission and the GSN together aim to see Pompoms embraced worldwide, enabling everyone to boldly show their commitment to freedom.
The Pompom is an initiative by HeARTs on a Mission (HOAM). Hearts on a Mission was founded by Maren Krass, more commonly known by her artist name, Neram. The foundation uses art as a way to foster positive change around the world.
